Abrahámhegy Beach
Introduction
The Ábrahámhegy Beach is one of the most natural and family-friendly bathing spots on the northern shore of Lake Balaton. The beach is unique for its sandy shore, which was formed by the sediment of the Burnót Stream, making it an ideal choice for families with small children. The beach covers an area of 1.1 hectares, with a 160-meter-long shoreline and a capacity of 1,060 people. Shaded and sunny rest areas, sports fields, a playground, buffets, and clean restrooms ensure comfort.
The beach is constantly evolving: it has undergone several renovations since the 1990s, most recently with the addition of a playground and new paving. Thanks to its peaceful environment, clean water, and family-friendly services, Ábrahámhegy Beach is one of the most popular destinations on Lake Balaton during the summer season.
