Helka Brewery

The Helka Brewery is located in Balatonföldvár, on the shore of Lake Balaton, in a 130-year-old former railway station building. The brewery's goal is to supply the Balaton region with high-quality craft beers. The selection includes Bavarian wheat beer, Kölsch, IPA, and New England IPA. The beers are brewed according to their own recipes using local ingredients, and the master brewers – Fülöp Tihanyi, Alex Kun, and Sándor Dávid – previously worked at renowned breweries such as Hedon, Hübris, and the Pannonhalma Abbey Brewery.

The Helka Brewery also has a beer garden, a pub, and a tasting room suitable for guided brewery tours. Guests can sample freshly tapped beers, premium sausages, and wines from Lake Balaton while enjoying the view of the lake. Helka's philosophy is "Follow the Hopfish."

The Helka Brewery is located at 9 Rákóczi Ferenc Street in Balatonföldvár. It is easily accessible by car from Highway 7, and paid parking is available in the vicinity. The train station and Kvassay Park are just a few minutes' walk away.
