Balatonfüred Hajóállomás
Introduction
Balatonfüred Boat Station is one of the most important water transport hubs on the northern shore of Lake Balaton. It is located in the historical and tourist center of the town, right next to Tagore Promenade. Scheduled and pleasure boat services operated by BAHART depart from the port, providing easy access to popular destinations on the opposite shore, including Siófok, Balatonföldvár and Tihany.
Boating from Balatonfüred offers a unique experience as well as being a practical form of transport: the deck provides breathtaking views of the Tihany Peninsula, the elegant city waterfront and the rolling hills of the Balaton Uplands. During the summer season, 60-minute pleasure boat trips depart several times a day and there are also popular evening sunset tours, offering a special atmosphere.
Location & Accessibility
The Boat Station is located next to Tagore Promenade, making it easily accessible on foot from the city center. The nearest local bus stops are just a few minutes' walk away, and those arriving by car can use paid parking facilities.
