Bodorka Balaton Water World Visitor Center

Introduction

Bodorka Balaton Water World Visitor Center is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Balatonfüred, which presents the aquatic life of Lake Balaton and its surroundings in an interactive and spectacular way. The center welcomes visitors with 15 freshwater and 2 marine aquariums, as well as terrariums and a garden pond. The exhibitions provide information about the fish species living in Lake Balaton, from the few-centimeter-long windsurfers to the heavier catfish, and visitors can also get a glimpse of the Adriatic Sea. The aim of the visitor center is to provide a realistic presentation of the region's while drawing attention to the importance of environmental protection. The location is ideal for families, school groups, and nature lovers alike.

Location & Accessibility

The aquarium is located in Balatonfüred, in the middle of Tagore Park, directly on the shore of Lake Balaton. The location is easily accessible on foot from the main points of the city, and by local bus from the Balatonfüred Hajóállomás (boat station), where you should get off at the stop called "Állomás", then turn left and walk about 100 meters.bus stop, then turn left and walk about 400 meters to reach the building. The parking garage on Zákonyi Street offers paid parking for visitors arriving by car.

The building is fully accessible, making it easily accessible for visitors with limited mobility.
