City Beach
Introduction
The Keszthely City Beach is one of the largest and most popular bathing spots on the western shore of Lake Balaton, welcoming visitors since 1927. The beach is unique in that it is Lake Balaton's largest water park, with slides, a Balaton-shaped pool, sandy sports fields, and a mini golf course. The area is also home to the nearly 200-year-old Szigetfürdő, which floats on the water in a unique way. The beach offers active recreation: a kayak and canoe rental point, SUP rental, teqball, beach volleyball, streetball, and summer tournaments add color to the program. Those who prefer passive relaxation can relax on the sunbathing lawn or in the shade of the trees. The beach's clean, tidy environment, civilized services, and rich program selection make it an ideal choice for families, young people, and sports enthusiasts alike.

The City Beach is easily accessible from downtown Keszthely on foot, by bicycle, car, and public transportation. The train station and bus station are about a 10-minute walk away.
