Csalló Pálinka Manufactory
Traditional small-batch brandies in the heart of Vödörvölgy.
Located on the edge of Balatonalmádi, in the picturesque Vörösvölgy valley, Csalló Pálinka Manufaktúra has been operating since 1999 and has been bottling its own brand of pálinka since 2005. The family business started with a chemical engineering background, with the aim of preserving and continuing the centuries-old Hungarian tradition of small-scale pálinka distilling. They produce their pálinkas in wood-fired copper stills using a double distillation process, while paying attention to modern technologies and environmentally conscious operation.
The factory's product range includes classic fruit juices, such as fermented apple, wild cherries, grapes, quinces, and plums – which are produced in small quantities and sorted by hand. Visitors are offered the opportunity to taste the products during a tour of the farm, on a shaded terrace, in a friendly atmosphere. The venue is wheelchair accessible and offers outdoor activities such as barbecue, table tennis, and darts for guests to enjoy.
