Esterházy Beach
Introduction
Tagore Promenade is one of the most beautiful parts of the town of Balatonfüred, with its Reform-era atmosphere, with its beautifully landscaped grounds and long stretch of beach offering spectacular views of Tihany.
It is also possible to use the beach's water park facilities, for which a separate ticket is required. The adventure pool complex consists of one children's pool and one adult pool, each with a slide and various water features and massagers.
Children's competitions and craft workshops, an animation room, fitness and aqua fitness facilities, and beach volleyball competitions. Full service is provided by the beach's three restaurants, three buffets, a confectionery shop and numerous other catering facilities.
Location & Accessibility
The beach is easily accessible on foot from the eastern end of Tagore Street or by turning off Aranyhíd Street. By train, travel to the Balatonarács stop, then take bus 71 to Deák Ferenc Street, where you will find the main entrance to the beach on the shore. By local bus, travel to the Esterházy Strand stop.
Paid parking is available for visitors, but free parking is available in the Munkácsy Mihály and Germering streets.
Access to the beach is barrier-free, with a ramp and lift to assist visitors with reduced mobility, and there are also three toilets for people with reduced mobility.
