Evangelical Church in Szarvaskend

The Lutheran church in Szarvaskend is located in Vas County, in the picturesque village of Szarvaskend. The history of the church dates back to the end of the 19th century:

• Year of construction: 1887 – the Lutheran community built the church in the village in this year.
• Socialist era:nbsp;During the period of nationalization, the church was also used as a school, and was later demolished, with only the tower remaining.
• Reconstruction: In 2002, the community rebuilt the church. Although the building is partly new,nbsp;it is a defining and valuable element of the village's image and has symbolic significance for the locals.
