Füredi Panteon
Introduction
Füred Pantheon is one of Balatonfüred's most distinctive cultural monuments, honoring renowned writers, artists and scientists who were connected to the town. The series of memorial plaques on the covered walkway fittingly honours individuals who have contributed to Hungarian culture and science.
The first plaque is dedicated to János Garay, the poet who first dedicated an entire volume of poetry to Lake Balaton. Other notable figures honored include Gergely Czuczor, Gyula Krúdy, Loránd Eötvös, Endre Ady, Mihály Vörösmarty, Mihály Csokonai Vitéz, Mór Jókai, Géza Gárdonyi, János Bihari and Lőrinc Szabó.
The site is open all year round and is an ideal choice for visitors interested in culture, offering a short programme lasting approximately one hour.

Füred Pantheon is located on Gyógy Square in Balatonfüred, in the immediate vicinity of the State Heart Hospital. The site is easily accessible and offers paid parking for visitors. The nearest local bus stop is about a quarter of an hour's walk away.
