Heroes' Gate
Introduction
The exhibition “Treasure of Heroes” highlights Veszprém’s central role in the medieval period, showcasing objects and stories that distinguish the city from other castles and towns in the region and across Hungary. The castle is presented as both a religious and administrative center, with the exhibition organized around specific objects or groups of items. The ground floor focuses primarily on the Árpád-era, while the upper level brings the age of the border fortress system to life through displays of clothing, tools, and scale models.
