High Shore
Introduction
In Balatonakarattya, the Magaspart (High Shore) area essentially covers the full length of Kisfaludy Promenade. It’s a popular destination for tourists and weddings year-round, offering a stunning view of the eastern basin of Lake Balaton—especially spectacular at sunset. Located approximately 50–60 meters above the shoreline, it provides a unique visual experience.
Location & Accessibility
The site is accessible by car via Route 71, but entry is only permitted with prior authorization. Parking is available in nearby streets, particularly around Rákóczi Park. The location is about a 15–20 minute walk from the railway stop and just 5 minutes on foot from the 'Balatonakarattya, Rákóczi-fa' bus stop.
