Introduction

Kishegy, located on the edge of Balatonlelle, is part of the Outer Somogy Hills, and at a height of nearly 300 meters, it offers an unparalleled panorama of Lake Balaton. The well-kept park forest and viewing terrace are popular destinations for excursions, complemented by a playground. The area is famous for its grape growing and wines, as well as its gastronomic events, such as Kishegyi Kortyok & Falatok (Kishegy Sips & Bites) and the Murci Festival. The highlight of the hill is the Baroque-style St. Donatus Chapel, built at the beginning of the 18th century, which remains one of the symbols of the wine region today.
