Lavender Terrace

We have been with you since 2016

Since May 2016, our restaurant and guesthouse, called Lavender Terrace, has been operating all year round in the "gateway to Lake Balaton" (which is certainly true from the perspective of those arriving from the capital on the M7 motorway) in Balatonvilágos, just 1,400 meters from the motorway exit.

Its fortunate location is further enhanced by its proximity to the Balatonaliga stop on the Budapest-Nagykanizsa main railway line, 150 meters away, and the nearby cycle path, which runs right past the building. The property is located in a large green area. It is surrounded by hilly wooded areas and a large grassy soccer field.

Elegant and modern surroundings, 800 meters from the beach. Spacious, cheerful rooms, a fireplace, and carefully selected music make your dining experience cozy and pleasant.

In our wine cellar, you will find a wine wall displaying the entire range of wines available in our restaurant. This makes it easy and convenient for you to choose a wine to accompany your meal.

In addition, three of our rooms can accommodate larger groups, so you can celebrate your birthday, wedding anniversaries, or even just a simple large family dinner with us.

Come here to relax! Idyllic moments in our garden

One of the main attractions of our restaurant (after the meat, of course) is our garden, which can accommodate up to 90 people. In 2021, we covered part of our garden so that we would not be dependent on the capricious summer weather.nbsp;

We have built a deck at the front of our beautiful garden pond, where you can reserve a table, but be sure to call in advance, as tables are in high demand! If you reserve a table on the deck, you can meet our four inseparable koi carp, who will eat every crumb that falls into the water, together with their fellow carp. They have been with us since we opened (2016), and our goal is to keep it that way, so please don't drop your phone in the pond!
