Mackó Dessert Shop and Snack. One of Veszprém's best-known and oldest dessert shops, operating since 1996 in the heart of the city, at 2 Megyeház Square. Back in the day, Korona Hotel stood here, with horse-drawn carriages pulling up outside, and later the wooden-paneled corner shop became a pleasant meeting place in the city center. It has been run by the  Vászolyi family since 1996. With dozens of confectioners and service staff, the shop is thriving and growing along with its customer base.

The dessert shop offers an exceptionally wide range of products: in addition to classic homemade cakes, modern, light desserts, and gluten-free options are also available. Custom cake orders are also available, with wafer photos or fairy tale character decorations. The selection is complemented by snacks, coffees, teas, and soft drinks, making it ideal for a quick breakfast, an afternoon coffee break or a festive occasion. A special feature of Mackó Dessert  Shop is that you can order products through its own webshop, quickly and easily, without having to register.

The place has a friendly, family atmosphere, making it a popular destination not only for locals but also for tourists.

Thanks to its central location, it is easily accessible on foot from the pedestrian zone, by car and public transport. There are several pay parking lots nearby, for example, in the vicinity of Szabadság Square and Megyeház Square, while the nearest bus stops (Kossuth Street, Megyeház Square) are a few minutes' walk away.
