Mandulavirág Beach
Introduction
Mandulavirág Beach is a central bathing spot in Balatonakali, located on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, surrounded by shady trees, in a family-friendly environment. The beach can accommodate 1,500 people, is well maintained, and has been awarded the "Blue Flag" certification. The beach has a sandy shore, several playgrounds, sports fields, and water attractions, ensuring active recreation for all age groups.
Services include water bike, kayak, and SUP rentals, a beach library, a slide, luggage storage, and free WiFi. For children, there are themed programs led by animators, a diaper changing room, and a shaded playground.
The beach pays special attention to accessibility: tactile guide paths, induction loops, tactile maps, and water-assistedhelp visually impaired and mobility-impaired guests find their way around.
Location & Accessibility
The beach is located in the center of Balatonakali, at 1 Balaton Street. It is easily accessible by car from Route 71, with a total of 142 free parking spaces available on Strand Street and Vasút Street, including accessible parking spaces. The train station and bus stop are approximately 600 meters away, making it easily accessible by public transport. There is also an electric car charging station near the beach, in the parking lot of the FÉK store.
