Márkó

Márkó is a village near Veszprém that offers peaceful recreation through its historical heritage and natural surroundings. Visitors can explore a variety of hiking trails along the red-marked tourist route that runs through the settlement. The Calvary and the Baroque Roman Catholic church are among the village’s main attractions.

Márkó is accessible via a turnoff from the main road (Route 8). The 'Márkó, Kálvária utca' bus stop lies in the heart of the village, while the train stop is located about 800 meters away from the center. The village can also be reached by bicycle from Veszprém and Bánd via a dedicated bike path.
