Nádas Csárda
Introduction
Situated at the eastern gate of Lake Balaton in Balatonkenese, Nádas Csárda has been offering authentic Hungarian hospitality for over three decades. Starting out as a small wine bar in 1992, the family-run restaurant has developed into a modern, year-round csárda that combines traditional Hungarian flavors with contemporary culinary expectations.
Classic dishes on the menu include fish soup, catfish paprika, gypsy roast, tripe stew and the Nádas platter, as well as options for vegetarians and children.
The inn regularly hosts family celebrations, corporate events and weddings, as well as popular events such as the St Martin's Day wine dinner and the Advent pig slaughter. The dining room can seat 110 people and an additional 50 people can be accommodated in the shady garden in the summer.
