National Handball Academy Sports Hall

The Sports Hall is the central facility of the National Handball Academy (in Hungarian: Nemzeti Kézilabda Akadémia, NEKA), supporting athlete training since 2016. It features three full-size handball courts that can be combined into one large space, making it suitable for hosting international events. In addition to handball markings, the courts also include volleyball and badminton lines. Athletes benefit from seven changing rooms, a strength training gym, a snack bar, a VIP lounge, and communal areas. Outdoor training is also available around the hall, including a running track, a natural grass field, a fitness park, and a rehabilitation equipment area.

The sports hall is accessible via Bercsényi Street, which branches off Gaál Gaszton Street, and offers on-site parking. It is about a 30-minute walk from the Balatonboglár train station, and the nearest bus stop (“Balatonboglár, Orvosi rendelő”) is just 500 meters away.
