Introduction

The Radio and Television Museum is located in the center of Keszthely, in a late Baroque-style building dating back to the 1820s. The institution was founded in 2006 by József Nádler, a radio and television engineer, as the result of more than four decades of collecting. The museum's collection of nearly 1,000 items presents special relics of Hungarian industrial history, including working Orion and Videoton devices, gramophones, record players, radios, and tape recorders.

At the exhibition, visitors can encounter iconic pieces of 20th-century technological development. With the help of contemporary audio recordings and music, the museum also recreates the atmosphere of the 1930s and 1940s. Admission is 500 HUF for adults and 300 HUF for children.

Radios, tape recorders, and record players evoke the old days in the museum.
