Sajkod Beach

Sajkod Beach is located at the northwestern tip of the Tihany Peninsula, at the foot of Csúcs Hill, in a picturesque natural setting. The beach is special because it is far from the bustling center of Tihany, offering quiet and peaceful relaxation. The coastline is grassy, covered with shady trees, and thanks to its western orientation, it is particularly pleasant for sunbathing in the afternoon and evening.

The water gradually deepens, making it safe for small children, while the deeper parts are ideal for more experienced swimmers. The beach has crystal clear water, sun loungers for hire, a playground, a sandpit, and amenities such as a changing room, washrooms, showers, and a cloakroom. The buffet offers fresh and classic beach food. For active recreation, water bikes, SUPs, and kayaks are also available for rent.

Sajkod Beach can be reached via a narrow access road that branches off from Route 71 at the northwestern tip of the peninsula. The beach has a paid parking lot where you can park by the hour or by the day. The parking lot is located directly next to the beach, about 50 meters from the entrance. The train station is located approximately 3.3 km from the beach.
