Spartacus Vitorlás Egylet
Introduction
Spartacus Vitorlás Egylet (Spartacus Sailboat Association) in Balatonföldvár is a key player in Hungarian sailing, actively shaping the sport scene around Lake Balaton through its competitive, youth development, and community-focused activities. The club’s history dates back to 1990, when members of the sailing division of Budapest Spartacus SC founded a new association. The facility is located on a man-made island bordered by Lake Balaton on three sides, featuring a clubhouse, accommodation, workshops, and communal spaces to serve both athletes and guests.
Location & Accessibility
Spartacus marina is situated in the Móló (Pier) area of Balatonföldvár. It is easily accessible by car from the town center, with parking available near the marina. The train station is just a few minutes’ walk away, while the central bus stop along Main Route 7 is about a 15-minute walk from the site.
