Szigliget
Introduction
Szigliget is one of the most prominent cultural and historical settlements of the Balaton Uplands, where natural surroundings, gastronomy, and heritage preservation form a harmonious whole. The centerpiece of the village is the renovated castle, open year-round and hosting numerous events. Local wineries, restaurants, and cultural programs showcase the traditions and values of the region. The village plays an active role in tourism development, and several themed hiking trails start from here.
