Szigliget Castle
Introduction
Szigliget Castle is one of the most visited historical attractions in the Balaton Uplands, preserving the region’s past since the 13th century. Location & Accessibility
The castle is about a 10–15-minute walk from the center of Szigliget. By car, it is easily accessible within the village; from the designated parking area, a 400-meter uphill path leads to the entrance. By public transport, it is approximately a 10–15-minute walk from the “Szigliget, bejárati út” bus stop. Train connections are available in the neighboring towns of Badacsonytördemic and Balatonederics.
