Tihany Doll Museum

Introduction

Tihany Doll Museum is a unique private collection which displays more than 500 porcelain dolls dressed in traditional costumes from different regions of Hungary. The aim of the exhibition is to preserve and showcase the diversity of Hungarian folk costumes as well as the traditions of handmade doll-making. The dolls' meticulously crafted clothes faithfully reflect the clothing customs of the given region, allowing visitors to take a journey through time and experience Hungarian folk culture.
