Veszprém Castle

Veszprém Castle is one of the city's most significant historical and cultural centers, located on Castle Hill, one of the seven hills on which the city was built. The Baroque castle district is home to numerous monuments, churches, galleries, and museums await visitors, including St. Michael's Cathedral, the Gisela Chapel, the Fire Tower, the Dubniczay Palace and the Modern Art Gallery. The castle grounds also feature the Boldog Gizella Archdiocese Collection, which houses one of the richest collections of Hungarian ecclesiastical treasures.
