Világos Horse Park
Introduction
Located in the central part of Transdanubia and easily accessible from the M7 motorway, the equestrian center is one of the leading horse riding hubs in the Western Hungary region.
Világosi Lovassport (Világos Equestrian Sports) Ltd , with its modern facilities and covered arena, perfectly meets the needs of equestrian sports. The high level of professional work is directed by András Kövy Jr., captain of the Hungarian Show Jumping Team, and his wife, Kriszta Dorogi.
The equestrian park regularly provides a venue for training camps and professional courses, as well as workshops throughout the year, and hosts numerous show jumping and dressage competitions throughout the year.
Location & Accessibilty
The equestrian park is located on the outskirts of Balatonaliga, a neighborhood within Balatonvilágos, technically already within Veszprém County. It can be accessed by road from the village center via Fischer Annie Street (currently still listed as Felszabadulás Street on Google), or directly from Route 71 by turning onto a dirt road. The nearest public transportation options are the Balatonaliga train station (about a 20-minute walk) and the 'Balatonvilágos, Mező Street' bus stop (about a 15-minute walk).
