Zamárdi Pump Track
Introduction
Next to Lake Balaton’s largest public beach in Zamárdi, surrounded by picturesque scenery, Hungary’s biggest pump track was completed and opened in July 2025. Covering 899 square meters of asphalt and featuring a 335-meter-long track, the facility was built using modern technology and can accommodate dozens of athletes at any one time. The 63 x 52 meter area includes separate sections for beginners and advanced riders, alternative routes, and a “Dirt” jump line, offering nearly endless combinations for users.
The pump track quickly became one of Zamárdi’s most popular recreational spots. Families, children, beginners, and experienced riders alike find both challenge and fun here, while its lakeside location adds a touch of summer Balaton atmosphere to the sporting experience. The facility has strong tourism and community appeal, contributing to the traffic of nearby hospitality venues.
Location & Accessibility
The pump track is located in central Zamárdi, in the lakeside area bordered by Margó Ede Promenade, Kecskeméti Street, and Kiss Ernő Street, about a 20-minute walk from the train station. It is easily accessible by car from Main Route 7, with parking available nearby.
