Zamárdi Vízisport Bázis

Zamárdi Vízisport Bázis (Zamárdi Water Sports Base) offers dynamic and diverse aquatic experiences for all ages right on the shores of Lake Balaton. From SUP and windsurfing to kayaking and sailing, visitors can try a wide range of water sports—with equipment rental and instruction available. More than just a sports center, the base also serves as a community space, hosting camps, team-building events, and gatherings where physical activity meets the spirit of Balaton.

Day camps for children, especially windsurf camps, are particularly popular, while adults can improve their skills using premium equipment and the guidance of professional instructors.

The Water Sports Base is located on the western edge of Zamárdi, at the corner of Margó Ede Promenade and Harcsa Street, directly on the lakeshore. It’s about a 30-minute walk from both the train station and the Szántód ferry. The nearest bus stop, “Zamárdi, Csokonai köz”, is just an 8-minute walk away. The site is easily accessible by car from Main Route 7, with parking available nearby. Current opening hours can be found on the official website.
